Senior Human Resources Officer – Croydon


Operating at a senior level to:

  • provide an effective, efficient and cost-effective Human Resources service to the business
  • provide a professional service to staff and external customers
  • work collaboratively within the Human Resources Team and support colleagues


Recruitment Management & Administration:

  • Work with management to develop job descriptions
  • Manage vacancies on LinkedIn in conjunction with Marketing
  • Liaise with agencies and candidates to arrange interviews, rooms and interview packs
  • Send unsuccessful interview letters where required
  • Update the org charts as directed Onboarding:
  • Preparing contracts of employment and new starter packs
  • Ensuring return of signed contracts
  • Requesting and chasing references
  • Creating and maintaining new personnel files
  • Ensure staff electronic files are up to date
  • Setting up new starters on HR system (Deltek)
  • Managing the new starter admin as required
  • Ensuring new starter profile is created on SharePoint/company intranet

General HR Duties:

  • Be the point of contact on all HR matters for Bradbrook Consulting, Concentre Consulting, HPF Sydney, Singapore, Glasgow and Croydon offices*
  • Manage and arrange all staff exit interviews and prepare analysis and reports
  • Take minutes of HR or committee meetings
  • Check and assist with the content of the internal staff newsletter
  • Manage Personal Development Plan (PDP) cycle within own area and capture outcomes and training requirement
  • Within area of responsibility, support managers to ensure outcome and actions from PDPs are undertaken
  • Assist with Training & Development Administration e.g. producing certificates and booking attendance at training events
  • Manage the HR and Recruitment email boxes on a daily basis, in collaboration with the HR Team
  • Within are of responsibility, ensure all HR filing is up to date and that right to work documentation is correct and up to date
    • Assist with any HR projects, as instructed by the HR Team e.g.:
  • review and refresh the staff induction
  • assist with Graduate Fairs as required
  • assist with formatting and refreshing on all HR policies, processes and templates including policies and procedures, handbook

Director and Head of HR Support:

  • Assist with HR/Compliance projects as required by the Group Talent & Resource Director
  • Support the Director and Head of HR with all HR and company administration as directed


  • Ability to project a positive, welcoming and professional attitude at all times
  • Able to work as part as a team and collaboratively and co-operatively
  • Proficiency in MS Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel essential
  • Competency in MS Office, PowerPoint, SharePoint are desired
  • Experience in a similar role is essential, ideally gained in professional services
  • Attention to detail, diligent at all times and a proactive attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good presentation skills desired
  • Educated degree level or equivalent desired
  • Personable approach and a ‘can do’ attitude is essential
  • Ability to establish rapport and good working relationships within the project team and Clients
