CIBSE – Young Engineer Award

Hurley Palmer Flatt’s very own Graduate Consultant Raphael Amajuoyi, has won the 2017 CIBSE ASHRAE Graduate of the Year Award for Young Engineers. We are proud to celebrate and congratulate Raphael for being recognised as the industry’s most sought-after accolades for young building services engineers.

HPF take pride in our graduate engineers and wholly support their career progression to eventually lead the way in building performance. Raphael joined HPF as part of the GATES scheme in 2015, since then, he joined CIBSE in January 2016 to support his career progression with the aim of eventually becoming a Chartered Engineer.

The CIBSE Young Engineers Awards celebrate the industry’s best examples of young engineering talent. Our graduate was invited to give a short five-minute presentation to the judging panel and guests at the awards event which was held at IMechE in London on Thursday 12 October 2017. The judging panel includes the presidents of CIBSE; ASHRAE; and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) along with the 2016 Graduate of the Year Antoni Sapina Grau of WSP Parsons Brinkerhoff.
