Human Resources Administrator

Job holder’s primary objectives

To provide an effective, efficient and professional support service to the Human Resources Department and all internal staff and external customers.


New Starter administration:

  • Preparing and sending out contracts of employment and new starter packs
  • Monitoring the return of signed contracts of employment
  • Reference requesting and monitoring the return of all references
  • Creating new starter files and ensuring kept up to date
  • Ensure staff electronic files are up to date
  • Setting up new starters on Deltek/Rapport as required by the HR Team
  • Assist with all other new starter admin as required
  • Make sure their new starter profile is updated on SharePoint/company intranet

Recruitment Administration:

  • Contacting agencies and candidates to arrange interviews
  • Prepare interview packs for managers where required
  • Book meeting rooms as required and send diary invites
  • Send unsuccessful interview letters where required
  • Manage and post live vacancies on LinkedIn on conjunction with Marketing
  • Assist with creating new job descriptions and updating current job profiles as required

General HR Duties:

  • Answer incoming calls and respond where required
  • Ensure HR filing is up to date
  • Take minutes as and when required in relevant HR or committee meetings
  • Assist with arranging the summer work experience timetable
  • Check and assist with the content of the internal staff newsletter
  • Manage the HR Archiving
  • Assist with any HR projects as instructed by the HR Team
  • Assist with Training and Development Administration, such as producing certificates and booking training as directed
  • Assist with collating PDP feedback and outcomes
  • Assist with Graduate Fairs as directed
  • Assist with Formatting on all HR Documents
  • Assist with new staff Inductions
  • Prepare and research new policies as directed where required
  • Manage the Human Resources and Recruitment email boxes
  • Assist with payroll duties where directed

Director Support:

  • Assist with HR/Compliance projects as required by the Group Talent & Resource Director
  • Support the Director with all company administration
  • Assist with Diary management as required
