BCO Cycle Challenge – Copenhagen to Berlin

The wait is over, the BCO Cycle Challenge has begun our very own Associate Mechanical Lead, Isabel has reached the start of the BCO Cycle Challenge 2018…

Starting her journey in the cycling friendly city of Copenhagen in Denmark on Monday 21st May, Isabel will ride as part of a peloton of 60 cyclists to Gedser where she will board a ferry for Rostock in Germany. On Tuesday 22nd May, the peloton rides from Rostock via Basedow to Neubranenburg. Day 3 will see the peloton congregate with those participating in the golf challenge and others arriving in central Berlin for the start of the conference.

Isabel will be sporting her HPF gilet as first defence against the Baltic Sea winds and has been nominated as a ride captain to support a fluid flowing peloton along the rolling road closures.

Here’s what Isabel has to say:

“Having started the group training rides with a fear of the unknown and less than ideal training preparation due to the Beast from the East, after 6 group rides I have gained form and friendship on my journey to Berlin. I am proud to be nominated as a ride captain and looking forward to capping it all off with our HPF presentation on Smart Buildings : Smart Tech : Smart Space at the BCO Conference.”
