Mike O’Mahony, BEng(Hons) CEng MCIBSE
Mike began his work in building services engineering in 1983 at consulting engineers J.E. Greatorex and Partners. He later moved to Norwest Holst Construction Ltd. where he acted as a project engineer on several traditional and design and build and management contracting schemes most notably Nissan’s European Technology Centre at Cranfield, Bedfordshire.
In 1994 Mike joined Stanhope Interior (now ISG) and worked continuously for them until 2010. In addition to working on several of the company’s most prestigious projects he was appointed their Engineering Director and most recently as a Divisional Director responsible for their Technology Division specialising in the construction and commissioning of highly serviced, resilient critical facilities which included data centres, finance infrastructure and laboratories.
Mike joined the Andrew Reid as a Partner in 2010 and took over the reigns as Managing Director upon David Lake’s retirement in September 2014.
He is a very keen cyclist, self-taught guitarist and in his spare time helps manage and coach a local children’s rugby team.
