Mark Arthur, CEng MIET

Regional Director UK

Mark Arthur, Regional Director of Hurley Palmer Flatt, oversees the growth of the business in Scotland. Currently, Mark is responsible for the group’s accreditations such as Achilles RISQS (Transportation) and Achilles UVDB (Utilities).

Mark has over 20 years of experience and was previously one of the founding directors, and Managing Director of ATCO Consulting prior to its acquisition by Hurley Palmer Flatt.

Mark has a keen interest in industry and academia research collaboration and was the director responsible for developing the decentralised Hybrid Energy Centre and Infrastructure service line via a two year Knowledge Transfer Partnership with Strathclyde Universities Energy Systems Research Unit.

Mark is a member of the ACE Scotland Committee with one of his main roles being the development of an industry / academia research community in engineering within Scotland.
