Mark Arthur, Regional Director of Hurley Palmer Flatt, oversees the growth of the business in Scotland. Currently, Mark is responsible for the group’s accreditations such as Achilles RISQS (Transportation) and Achilles UVDB (Utilities).
Mark has over 25 years of experience and was previously one of the founding directors and Managing Director of ATCO Consulting prior to its acquisition by Hurley Palmer Flatt.
Mark has a keen interest in industry and academia research collaboration and was the director responsible for developing the decentralised Hybrid Energy Centre and Infrastructure service line via a two-year Knowledge Transfer Partnership with Strathclyde Universities Energy Systems Research Unit and Innovate UK.
Mark is the chair of the ACE Scotland Committee and is an ACE board Director with one of his main objectives to promote Youth Intake and R&D in the Consultancy and Engineering Profession in Scotland.
In his spare time Mark enjoys his role as a Community Councillor for Renfrewshire Council and is also a member of the Bishopton Model Railway Club.
