Estee Lauder Companies World Interiors News Awards winner 2016

The relocation of The Estée Lauder Companies UK & Ireland to One Fitzroy is the first time globally, that the business has brought together all of its brands and training facilities under one roof.

As a family-founded business, the vision for the new headquarters centred around the themes of family, home and community to support collaboration, agility, creativity and innovation. It was crucial that this was reflected in the design of One Fitzroy.

Set over ten floors, the experience starts from the moment you enter the hotel-style foyer on the ground floor.

To celebrate the brands coming together under one roof ‘Brand Hubs’ have been created throughout the working floors. These are spaces where each brand is free to express the essence of their brand identity.

Throughout the building, technology enables the meeting rooms to be re-branded digitally at the touch of a button, giving each of the brands the ability to tailor the look and feel to suit its specific needs.

Shared amenities are located at strategic points around the building as ‘destinations’. The lower ground floor comprises of the main café, alongside health & wellbeing spaces, the in-house beauty store, and a Hair & Nail salon. At the top of the building there is a large events and presentation space for everyone’s use, with a Barista bar leading out onto the terrace. Adjacent to the events space is ‘The Blue Room’ which celebrates the Lauder family heritage.

One Fitzroy has been embraced by everyone who uses it and even after several months in occupation the excitement and energy are still palpable and the flexibility and open design of the building mean that each day brings a new area to explore or space to work, making discovery continuous.
