  • Adjacent to the exisiting impressive technical centre, a new structure will house a new energy centre incorporating UKPN substation, generator and chiller installation
  • The 132kV sub-station design with UKPN with 66MVA capacity is a joint venture with UKPN, the client will be allocated 15MVA supply whilst remaining capacity will be used for adjacent developments
  • Complex structural design is required to address issues such as buried obstruction in the form of services, the existing dock wall and sheet piles walling adjacent to the site is the listed vent shaft for Blackwall Tunnel
  • Electrical and cooling load profile assessed and projections/modelling tool provided to the client for internal use
  • PUE assessment and report on whether energy savings could be achieved with different equipment/cooling methodologies
  • Complex generator and MW switchgear installation whilst maintaining building operations
  • 10 year plant assessment and replacement strategy to enable program of plant replacement to be collated
  • Key to the works was our familiarity with the existing building and on-going relationship with the client
