pre-let to global insurance firm, Willis Group Holdings, and will ultimately house the company's 2,800 London staff. The building is being developed by British Land in conjunction with Stanhope and the base build architect is Fosters.
The shell and core is due for completion in early 2007 whereupon fit-out works will start and the project is expected to be completed towards the end of 2007. You can view progress on the building here.
hurleypalmerflatt carried out an early due diligence on the building and the base build development specification. Since then, we have been managing the design and servicing of the floor spaces with an overall budget M&E fit out cost of £18m. The 23-storey, 125m tower amounts to 419,796 sq ft and includes 322,920 sq ft of offices, as well as the full range of amenities and specialist facilities including:
- Staff restaurant, executive dining rooms and associated kitchens
- Chairman and executive suites for senior level staff
- External terraces at levels 15 and 22 for staff dining and corporate functions
- 400-seat auditorium
- a Gymnasium.
