hurleypalmerflatt nominated for 2006 IEE/IET Innovation Award for CO2 Cooling in Data Centres
hurleypalmerflatt has been selected as a one of four finalists for a 2006 IEE/IET Innovation Award in the Built Environment category, working with Trox AITCS. The submission was based on our application of CO2 Cooling in Data Centres, the first time that this technology has been used for data processing cooling anywhere in the world. Use of CO2 cooling delivered greater cooling with a much lower space footprint, but also reduced energy requirements by 15-20%.
The Awards will be presented on the evening of 11th October at the IEE/IET.
