hurleypalmerflatt Directors speak at Data Centre Sustainability Conference
Directors Robert Thorogood, Julian Cranwell and Stuart Bowman spoke at conference on Thursday, 13th September entitled "Data Centre Sustainability: Fact of Fiction?", addressing over 100 clients and senior industry figures. Dr. David Telford, the first speaker and a well-known consultant on sustainability from Factor Ten, also set the scene highlighting the issues for data centre management and senior executives.
Each hurleypalmerflatt speaker then addressed the latest thinking on how data centres can be designed to reduce requirements in terms of critical engineering, IT and Energy, to comply with the latest legislation, and meet the overarching sustainability expectations for clients from a corporate social responsibility point of view.
The seminar was hosted by Galileo Connect, world leaders in modular data centres, and held in the City Bunker venue in Canary Wharf, with an introduction by Ian Wright, Chairman of Galileo Connect.
