hurleypalmerflatt nominated for Innovation of the Year for the 2nd year in a row
hurleypalmerflatt has just been nominated for the Building Services 2007 Innovation of the Year Award for development of the Galileo Connect modular data centre design. The nomination is in conjunction with Ian Wright and Galileo Connect Limited and the result of years of research. The Galileo Connect concept is a fully designed, type tested data centre which is highly resilient and scalable. This approach allows a "data pod" to be delivered within 38 weeks - far more quickly than a typical project of similar size. hurleypalmerflatt provided the building services, structural engineering, and IT and Communications as part of the product development.
Last year, hurleypalmerflatt won the Building Services Innovation of the Year as well as the IEE/IET Innovation Award for development of CO2 Cooling for data centres.
